SC Villa defender Geoffrey Wasswa has finally come out to clarify on reports that he joined URA Football Club a few weeks ago.
Speaking with sports fan Magazine, Geoffrey Wasswa has stated that his ideal destination after Villa Park is out of the country.
The versatile player says he hasn’t signed any contract with the tax collectors.
“My intentions have always been to work abroad, and I signed a short contract with SC Villa considering that especially with guidance from my special adviser,” He said.
“We have not signed anything with URA because even Villa would be aware by now.
“Until we have gotten feedback to the contrary from our foreign-based agent (names withheld), there is no locally done deal”,He added.
